Sri guru Peyarchi Nakshatra Shanti Homam

On Account of Guru Peyarchi on 21.11.10 there will be a special Sri guru Peyarchi Nakshatra Shanti Homam at the Chennai Om Sri Skandasramam, 1 Kambar ST, Mahalskhmi Nagar, Selaiyur, tambaram, Chennai -73, ph – 22290134 / 22293388 / 94446 29570, website-www.skandasramam.com

The day begins with the Go puja at 7.15 am followed by the Homa Sankalpam and Guru Peyarchi Nakshatra Shanthi Homam at 8. 30 am.

The following Rasi are requested to do the preethi
Mesham – Aswani, Bharani, Karthigai 1st padam
Rishabam – Mrigasheerasam 3rd padam, Tiruvadirai, Punapusam – 3rd padam
Simmam – Magam, Puram, Uthiram – 1st padam
Thulam – Chitirai till 3rd padam, Swathi, Vishakam till 3rd padam
Dhanus- Mulam, Puradam, Uthiradam till 1st padam
Makaram – Uthiradam from 2nd padam, Tiruvonam, Avittam till 2nd padam
Meenam – Purathadi from 4th padam, Uthirathadi, Revathi

At 11 am there will be purnahudhi and special abhishekam at 11.15 am followed by deeparadanai and annadanam at 12.30 pm.

Since it is Karthigai Purnami there will be a special abishekam to Goddess Matha Bhuvaneswari, Lord Dattatreyar at 10 am and being Karthigai Deepam there will be a special abhishekam to Lord Swaminatha Swami at 10.30 am.
